Just the name Hellcat brings the images of drag racing and tire smoke to mind. This ultra-powerful Dodge muscle car lives up to that name. The standard supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 pushes 717 horsepower through the 8-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. It comes standard with beautiful 20-inch wheels and big Brembo brakes to tame the power when coming to a stop. The widebody gives it a much cooler look as well as slightly better handling in corners, but don’t be mistaken, this car is made for straight-line speed. I’m talking about 0-60 mph in a mere 3.7 seconds and a quarter mile time of 11.8 seconds at 112 mph. The Hellcat has an insidious growl at startup that turns into a hellish howl under heavy throttle and the unmistakable sound of the supercharger whine will send chills down your spine, from either fear or excitement-but most likely both! The interior is a leather-clad, driver-centric cockpit with beautiful SRT badging and stitching almost everywhere you look. It has elegant leather heated and cooled seats to keep you comfortable as you fly down the track or the freeway. It also has a Uconnect info-tainment center that is simple yet filled with features. Some of which include Android Auto, Apple Car Play, Navigation System, Rear View Camera, and an Alpine Sound System to combat the growl of the motor. Some of its other interior features are Automated Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitors, Heated Steering Wheel, all Power Options, Sunroof, Smart Key, and of course the Technology Package. This hellcat has one of the most aesthetically pleasing motors I’ve ever seen with chrome covers on everything and Hellcat emblems everywhere. It also features Mopar hood pins to cage the 6.2-liter beast. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line, and if the road permits you a straight line, the fastest straight line is in a Hellcat.
