The Power Wagon, the “Big Boss” is every bit of the puller and work horse that you think it would be! It has been said that the Power Wagon could easily bull its way up a steep canyon pass while dragging a Jeep behind it. 10,000 lb. tows barely make the motor growl. It’s a big truck though, I’m talking about 22 feet long, 7 feet tall, with an 18-inch ground clearance (which is where the running boards come into play, but more on that later). This truck may be the most powerful and capable heavy duty/offroad truck on the market that doesn’t require a special license to drive. This truck comes with a giant grille that looks ready to swallow up anything smaller than a tractor trailer rig, big headlights, and has a big hook and Warn winch protruding from a slot in its bumper. The raised center section of the hood and the five amber big lights on the roof of the cab give this truck an athletic and muscular Mad Max look. A few other external features on this monster include the almost “have-to-have” running boards to ease the entrance, the much-loved Ram Box on either side of the bed for neat storage, bed liner and bed extender, and big Toyo M/T Open Country tires nearly dwarfing and sitting pretty on 20-inch Fuel wheels. The powerhouse of the Power Wagon is a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 pushing 410 horsepower and 429 ft. lbs. of torque. There is enough low-end torque on this truck to raise the front fenders under hard acceleration. This big truck still hits the 0-60 in about 8 seconds, which is more than reasonable for the sheer size of this beast. A few extra features are locking differentials, Bilstein shock absorbers, and anti-sway bars that can be disconnected with the push of a button. When it comes to the interior, luckily there are grab handles on all four corners to ease the entrance if the running boards aren’t quite enough. Inside you’ll also find many creature comfortable features including but not limited to: Apple Car Play, Blind Spot Monitors, Heated and Cooled Seats, Harmon Kardon Sound System, Heated Steering Wheel, Memory Seats, Parking Sensors, Rear Seat Heaters, Rear View Camera, and a 360 degree surround camera to help with parking and navigating the tighter spaces (didn’t I mention that this truck is HUGE?). Some other features are steering wheel controls, and a rotary shifter that leaves a lot of space for the huge Uconnect info-tainment system. The door panels are carbon fiber inlayed, and the leather seats sport the “Power Wagon” logo to give this heavy duty truck a tough looking, yet comfortable interior. The Power Wagon brand has a history dating back to 1945 and has always been a niche brute of a truck that can be used for serious work as well as serious play.
